The app
Diana AI for AndroidXR (com.iotj.diana.xr) is provided free of
charge by 株式会社IoTone Japan (IoTone, Inc.).
The app is proprietary software, not open source. You may install and use the published application on a device you own or control. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or reverse engineer it, except where that restriction is unenforceable under the law that applies to you. No rights in the source code are granted. Some components are supplied under third-party licences — chiefly the Apache License 2.0 — which continue to govern those components; see About.
Safety while wearing glasses
Diana runs on see-through glasses you can wear while moving. You remain responsible for your own safety and for your surroundings. Do not rely on Diana while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or anywhere that inattention could cause harm. Her display can obscure part of your view.
She can be wrong
Diana's spoken answers are generated by a large language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on her for medical, legal, financial, navigational or other consequential decisions. Verify anything that matters.
Third-party services
Answering your questions requires sending data to services we do not operate — Google's Gemini API among them. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability is outside our control. The privacy policy names each one.
Acceptable use
Do not use Diana to break the law, to record or surveil people without their knowledge where that is unlawful, or to attempt to extract or misuse other people's personal information. On glasses with a camera, be considerate: point it at the world you are entitled to look at.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IoTone, Inc. is not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from your use of the app.
Changes
These terms may change as the app develops. The updated date above changes with them.
